TN - Elderly auto driver hassled for questioning Tamilisai Soundarajan

In a shocking incident in Chennai, an elderly auto driver was pulled aside and harassed for asking Tamil Nadu BJP Chief Tamilsai Soundararajan about the rising fuel prices. 

 

The incident was caught on camera last night during an interaction with the press. The auto driver, named Kathir could be heard asking, "One minute Amma, the centre is increasing fuel price." Following his question, the auto driver could be seen elbowed twice, shoved aside and harassed by a BJP functionary. 

 

The BJP Chief could be seen standing oblivious while the auto driver gets assaulted behind her. Speaking to the press later, Kathir reportedly said, "I only expressed my anguish about how auto drivers are affected but they took it in a wrong sense. This is what happened."
