NARENDRA MODI COMING TO CHENNAI TOM TO PAY RESPECTS TO KARUNANIDHI

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to arrive in Chennai tomorrow to pay last respects to DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi, who passed away today evening at Kauvery Hospital in the city. 

Meanwhile, the Tamil Nadu government citing legal troubles has denied permission for family members to have a memorial at Marina and instead two acres of land has been given for burial near Gandhi Mandapam.

Karunanidhi will be laid to rest with full state honours with the flag being flown at half mast.
