Virat Kohli says Rayudu must be backed till World Cup 2019

On Monday, India beat West Indies in the fourth ODI match held in Mumbai by 224 runs. Speaking at the post-match presentation, Skipper Virat Kohli was all praises for CSK player Ambati Rayudu.

Rayudu was brought in as number four, a decision which Kohli is thankful for. Kohli said, "He reads the game well, so we are happy that someone intelligent is batting at number four." Rayudu smashed a century in 81 balls. Playing a wonderful partnership with the man of the match, Rohit Sharma, Rayudu might have finalised his position in the 2019 World Cup series.

Kohli stated, "Rayudu has taken his chance with both hands. We need to back him till the 2019 WC (World Cup)." The Skipper also praised young Khaleel Ahmed, who picked three wickets.
