Dhoni in no mood to give up on World Cup 2019 says his manager

Over the recent past, MS Dhoni's role as a batsman has become immensely debatable. Dhoni could be seen struggling this year with the bat and his poor performance got him out of the T20I series against West Indies and Australia.

With his consistent poor form, Dhoni's role in the upcoming World Cup 2019 is a mystery. However, Dhonis close friend and manager, Arun Pandey revealed that the Captain Cool is no mood to give up on the World Cup series.

Pandey reportedly told the Gulf News, "It's been a long cherished dream of Dhoni - since he gave up the captaincy in white ball cricket - to play in the World Cup next year where he would be more as a mentor to the team. His idea was to give Kohli time to develop in this role and there is still no change in his thinking."
