This is not the first time Dhoni has made the day for his fans. Recently, during the ODI series against West Indies, he met a specially-abled fan outside the stadium in Trivandrum before the 5th ODI and spent some time talking to him before posing for photographs.

Dhoni's fan base has only gone stronger despite his poor form with the bat of late. Despite all criticism, he remains to be an important member of the Indian team in ODIs and is the first-choice wicket-keeper for the upcoming 2019 World Cup.
