Mumbai Indians SunRisers Hyderabad and CSK in a Twitter banter

Months ahead of the 2019 edition of the Indian Premiere League, the teams already look ready to battle it out. Mumbai Indians, SunRisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings were involved in a light banter on Twitter.

It all started with Mumbai Indians posting a picture of their team all-rounders Hardik Pandya, Keiron Pollard and Krunal Pandya. The caption read, "Find a better allrounder trio. We will wait". Little did they expect their fellow IPL team SunRisers Hyderabad to respond. SunRisers Hyderabad posted a picture of their all-rounders Shakib Al Hasan, Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan and said, "The wait is over!"

The war of words intensified when three-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians posted their reply with a picture of their three trophies and said, "The wait goes on."

In came Chennai Super Kings into the picture, as they posted a picture with a specially designed photo of their captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Their caption read "Moondru Mugam" (Three-faced).
