MAN KILLS 16-YR-OLD FOR TRYING TO END RELATIONSHIP

A 23-year-old man in Bihar who works as a petrol bunk assistant allegedly murdered his 16-year-old girlfriend for trying to break up with him. The girl allegedly pushed the panic button after Jitender Kumar Sharma wrote her name on the back of his wrist using a blade. 

Sharma called the girl to a park to "end things smoothly". There, he strangled her by using her dupatta and also disfigured her face so that the cops wouldn't be able to identify her. He also took away her phone, which he used to find out if she had been keeping in touch with other men. 

Cops traced him using the girl's phone and extracted a confession out of him. The girl's body has been sent for an autopsy even as police sources said that relevant sections of POCSO act could be added later.
