METEOROLOGIST READS WEATHER REPORT WITH 1-YR-OLD SON ON HER BACK; WATCH VIDEO

A certified meteorologist in Minnesota, United States, decided to celebrate International Babywearing week by wearing her child on her back, as she read the weather report.

Susie Martin, the director of operations and a meteorologist at Praedictix left everyone amazed when she appeared for the weekend forecast show with her one-year-old son on her back. The sleepy boy was wrapped to her back with a purple cloth as the mother shared the weather forecast.

Her act was an attempt to promote International Babywearing Week, and give out a strong and empowering message to others moms.

"I wanted to promote this wonderful tool that's helped me as a mom and the bonding experience between mother and son," Martin told Good Morning America.

Citing babywearing as one of her passions, she added that being able to look after her child while performing her other daily tasks, has made her a happier person. "I suppose it's a way for the baby to be comforted. It was nice for me personally because I could multitask while comforting my child," she added.

Martin also went on to thank the company officials for being supportive. According to her, they helped her not only as an employee, but also as a mother.

This year, International Baby Week was celebrated from October 1 to October 7.
