2 DMK WORKERS DIE OF HEART ATTACK AFTER HEARING ABOUT KALAIGNAR'S DEATH

A Hindustan Times report states that two DMK cadres Subramanian and Rajendran, who are in their late fifties, died of heart attack in Mayiladuthirai and Nagapattinam districts of Tamil Nadu after hearing about the demise of their revered leader M Karunanidhi (95), who breathed his last at Kauvery Hospital in Chennai after a prolonged illness at 6.10 pm on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Congress President Rahul Gandhi has opined stating that a leader of national importance like M Karunanidhi deserves a memorial at Marina just like Jayalalithaa.
