Michael Vaughan thinks India made mistake by not playing Jadeja

India second Test against Australia commenced today at Perth. Australia won the toss and elected to bat first. Australia posted 145/3 at Tea.

Ravindra Jadeja was not picked for the second Test and was made to wait on the sidelines. Skipper Virat Kohli opted to go with four pacers for the second Test. Hanuma Vihari replaced Rohit Sharma and Umesh Yadav replaced Ravichandran Ashwin. Kohli's decision with India's playing XI for the second Test was heavily criticised and was even found uncertain by a few cricketers.

Tweeting at the start of the match, former England captain Michael Vaughan stated that India made a mistake by not selecting Ravindra Jadeja. Vaughan tweeted, "Think India have made a mistake not playing @imjadeja ... Not only for his bowling but his Batting at No 8 ... India have a very long tail this Week ... Aussies to win ..."
