Keiron Pollard tries to distract Bumrah while taking catch

India thrashed West Indies by 71 runs in the second T20I of the three-match series. The West Indies were chasing down a target of 196.

An awkward moment took place in the 11th over of the West Indies innings, which was being bowled by Jasprit Bumrah. The batsman, Keiron Pollard, went for a pull shot to break the shackles. Unfortunately, the leather hit the splice of the willow and spooned up in the air only to be caught by Bumrah himself. In the meantime, while Bumrah was steadily settling himself to get hold of the leather, Pollard was tantalisingly close to him. Kieron Pollard was so close to the bowler that he had to move his right hand away, which kind of distracted Bumrah to a significant extent.

From the spectator point of view, it seemed as if Pollard was trying to distract Bumrah. While Bumrah was able to catch the ball, the disruption left him upset and furious to an extent.

India were able to restrict the Windies to 124/9 and take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
