According to reports, a man riding his bike in Thiruvallur was injured after a police officer hit the rear of his vehicle with a lathi.
The shocking incident took place on Friday after the biker failed to stop at a temporary police check post. The incident was even caught on a CCTV camera installed in the area. The biker reportedly tried to speed away from the check post.
In an attempt to stop the biker, the police hit the rear of the bike. However, the rider lost control and fell. The police's act led to public outrage. The police department has assured that action will be taken.
