RAVICHANDRAN ASHWIN SHUTS DOWN TROLLS WHO QUESTIONED HIS RECORDS IN AUSTRALIA

Those who follow Ravichandran Ashwin on social media know for a fact that he is not one to back down and stay quiet in front of trolls. As India went down fighting Australia in the first T20I at Brisbane, Ashwin got into a banter with few fans who tried to troll him.

Despite India being on the losing side, the bowler in Ashwin saw a silver lining in the massive grounds in Australia. where hitting out of the park is no easy task for the batsmen. Taking to Twitter, Ashwin put up a witty tweet: “The boundary sizes in Australia Phew - is a delight for the bowlers.”

However, ignorant fans tried to take a jibe at the ace bowler, questioning his stats in Australia. One user wrote ' You used to be smashed for sixes there'.

Not one to back down, Ashwin decided to school them with facts and statistics! He reminded the troll of his statistics when he was part of the T20I squad in 2016 playing in Australia.

Twitterati took note of his smart replies and many lauded the star players for shutting the trolls. Many even came out in support of the spinner.
