WOW! MS DHONI BECOMES FIFTH INDIAN PLAYER TO SCORE 10,000 ODI RUNS

Captain Cool aka Mahendra Singh Dhoni became the fifth Indian player to score an overall 10,000 ODI runs while playing the first ODI against Australia on Saturday. 

Dhoni joined Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid and Virat Kohli on the elite list. Dhoni was just a run behind the milestone before the start of the match. Upon scoring a run, Dhoni became the fifth Indian player and 13th player worldwide to score 10,000 ODI runs. 

Dhoni and Kohli are the only two active members in the list now. Worldwide, Sachin Tendulkar, Kumar Sangakkara, Ricky Ponting, Sanath Jayasuriya, Mahela Jayawardene, Inzamam ul-Haq, Jacques Kallis, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Brian Lara and Tillakaratne Dilshan have scored 10,000 runs.
