MAN STABS ROOMMATE FOR TALKING LOUDLY ON PHONE

An Indian construction worker stabbed his roommate in Dubai for talking on the phone too loudly.

The 37-year-old construction worker was under the influence of alcohol stabbed the victim on March 30 at Al Qusais. According to an eyewitness the two had met on a balcony where a brawl erupted. Enraged, the accused took out a knife and stabbed him.

The accused has been charged with murder and drinking alcohol without a license at the Court of First Instance. The trial has been adjourned to October 7.
