CHENNAI: WOMAN ESCAPES AFTER POISONING KIDS

A 33-year-old woman named Abirami has gone missing after allegedly poisoning her two kids aged 7, and 4, to death in a bid to elope with her paramour Sundaram, who works at a biryani shop.

Abirami had married one Vijay, who works with a private bank eight years ago and the couple along with their two children lived in Kundrathur.

On Saturday night, Vijay returned to his house to find the kids being poisoned and rushed them to a hospital, where there were declared brought dead.

Suspicions are rife that Abirami might have killed the kids in order to elope with Sundaram. Her scooter was found parked at Koyambedu bus terminus and the police are gathering CCTV evidence in order to investigate the case.
