WOMAN BEATS MINOR DAUGHTER TO DEATH AFTER FIGHT WITH HUSBAND

A 38-year-old woman beat her 12-year-old daughter to death on Sunday following a quarrel with her husband. The incident reportedly took place at around 12:15 am on Sunday. The woman surrendered herself before the police after committing the murder.

Sumata Lata lived with her daughter Nancy in Rohtak, Haryana while her husband, Suresh Kumar was a priest at a temple nearby. According to Kumar, he had a fight with his wife over the phone on Sunday. Sumata had allegedly warned him to face the consequences and hed vented her anger on her daughter.

When Nancy expressed her wish to be with her father, Sumata lost her cool and bludgeoned her to death. Sumata reportedly informed her husband of the murder and called up the police as well. She was sent to judicial custody by a local court.
