YOUTH MARRIES 65-YEAR-OLD WOMAN

According to reports, a 27-year-old man, who grew a friendship with a sexagenarian woman, married her in Chandigarh on June 21. 65-year-old Karen Lilian Ebner flew down to Chandigarh to marry Praveen, the youth she met on Facebook eight months ago.

Karen carried a letter of her family's approval for the marriage. After marriage, the couple is now staying at a rented house. While Karen is scheduled to fly back to US on July 18, Praveen has applied for a passport. Reportedly, he’ll fly to US on a tourist visa.

Reportedly, Praveen has been unemployed for a long time after having a Masters degree in History. He works as a daily wage labourer in the meantime. Karen will permanently move to India if Praveen fails to get US resident visa, the couple reportedly said.
