TAMIL NADU: ELDERLY MAN FORCED TO CLEAN TOILET WITH BARE HANDS

In a shocking incident in Salem district, an elderly man at an old-age home was allegedly forced to clean a toilet with bare hands. The video of the purported incident shows the man cleaning the toilet floor with his hands as another man watches with a stick in his hand.

The incident reportedly took place at an old-age home in Annathanapatti, run by a woman named Kalaivani with the help of the Salem Corporation. The home accommodates around 35 elderly people, say reports. The video also shows another elderly woman standing in a water tank. It is alleged that she was forced to clean the tank.

The incident has sparked outrage as the video went viral on social media. When contacted, Kalaivani, who runs the home, reportedly said that the elderly man was mentally-challenged.
