According to reports, a class 12 student of a leading private school in Yamunanagar of Haryana shot his principal dead a week after he was rusticated for lack of attendance and picking up fights. He reportedly came to the school and said that he wanted to meet the principal. Then he walked to the principal Ritu Chhabra and fired several rounds at her with his father’s licensed revolver, say reports. She was rushed to a hospital where she was declared dead. Reportedly, the school staff caught the boy and handed him over to the police. An investigation is underway.
