Following the controversy surrounding Tamil lyricist Vairamuthu’s recent article about Andal, the lyricist has released a video, in which he is seen making emotional statements. Stating that some people intentionally misinterpreted what he said, Vairamuthu conveyed that he never intended to defame Andal. He also said that while Angammal is the mother who gave birth to him, Andal is the mother who taught him Tamil.
