had reportedly wanted
to do a light film.
Maja
is the outcome.The
film has a breezy
tone and fantasy element
to appeal to children.
It is a remake of the
Malayalam hit, Thommanum
Makkalum. Shafi, the
director had made minor
changes to suit Vikram’s
image in Tamil. Vikram
and Pasupathi play Manivannan’s
sons and they are professional
thieves. After Maja,
Vikram
would work on another
remake. It will be Sandhuppottu’s
Tamil version.
