Celebrities
participate in KBC2 for charitable
cause

The
second version of
KBC is slowly rising
up in the TRP ratings.
The first celebrity
couple to participate
in this edition of
the quiz was Ajay
Devgan and Kajol.
They answered Amitabh’s
questions with élan
and won a sizeable
amount. But they did
not take the prize
money home and
donated it to the Mahesh
Memorial Trust founded
by ace director Mani
Ratnam. The trust works
in the area of cancer
treatment and was established
in memory of music director
Mahesh who succumbed
to cancer. Ajay and
Kajol have come in for
great praise for their
generous gesture. Besides
these two, there have
been two other celebrity
pairs namely Preity
Zinta and Saif and Bipasha
Basu and John Abraham.
Preity and Saif also
donated the prize money
while Bipasha and John
kept it to themselves.
