be held in Chennai
on October 23, Kavithalaya
will organize a function
to honour evergreen
comedians of Tamil
cinema. Nagesh will
receive the N.S. Krishnan
Award and
Manorama will receive
the T.A. Maduram award.
Sachu will receive the
Thangavel award and
Vennira adai Murthy
will receive the Chandrababu
award. These awardees
and the legends in whose
memory they have been
felicitated have regaled
the audience with endless
hours of humour and
laughter. The proceeds
of the function will
go for the benefit of
the NGO, Rescue Foundation.
