The
film was expected
to be released on
Deepavali and the
director, K.S. Ravikumar
and hero Ajith were
quite enthusiastic
to see it through.
Only two songs and
two days’ shooting
remain, but the
film’s producers
faced some financial
crunch and therefore,
shooting had stopped
midway. K.S.R. got busy
with Saravana and A.R.
Rahman started on Jillendru
oru kadhal and Sivaji.
The hero is busy with
Tirupathi and Paramasivan.
Therefore, the main
team members have become
occupied with other
commitments and hence
Godfather’s release
has been delayed.
