show organized to
honour Ilayaraja for
his meritorious stints
in film music was
aptly titled, Netrum
indrum endrum. Raja
is forever. Jaya TV
was the organizer
and the show featured
some of
the best offerings of
the maestro. Despite
the passage of so many
years, his melodies
rang fond memories of
the movies they appeared
in. A special highlight
was the mellifluous
rendering of the songs
by the inimical S.P.
Balasubramanian. His
short anecdote on his
association with Raja
and the camaraderie
they shared was received
well by the audience.
