WATCH - HIKERS POKE SLEEPING ANIMAL WITH STICK; HERE IS WHAT IT TURNED OUT TO BE!

Two hikers from Mexico were in for a nasty surprise after poking at what seemed like a hairy, sleeping animal with a stick. A video of the incident that was posted on Twitter which went viral with over 1.67 million views.

From the video, the two hikers can be heard speaking in Mexican. According to a translation provided by the Mirror, one hiker says, "don't know what it is but it's very hairy! Is it a sleeping animal?" Upon poking the strange animal, it was found that the animal was a nest full of spiders.

From the video, hundreds of spiders can be seen emerging from the nest after getting poked. Watch the video here -
