"DECLINE IN MEDICAL CONDITION OF DR. KARUNANIDHI" - OFFICIAL REPORT FROM HOSPITAL

Kauvery Hospital has put out a fresh statement saying that the health of DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi has seen a decline on Monday. The hospital in its statement has stated that maintaining the vitals of the former chief minister has been a challenge considering his age. Karunanidhi, according to the hospital has been on constant monitoring and further treatment depends on how well he responds to the diagnosis in the next 24 hours.
It has been close to 10 days since DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi has been admitted to Kauvery Hospital after developing health-related issues. Ever since July 28 when Kalaignar was admitted, the hospital has seen a steady stream of visitors belonging to regional and national importance.
