RAHUL GANDHI MEETS KARUNANIDHI, PHOTO RELEASED

DMK has released the picture of Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s meeting with DMK supremo Karunanidhi at Kauvery hospital in Alwarpet, Chennai, on Tuesday. DMK working president MK Stalin is seen saying something to the veteran leader in his ears. The former Chief Minister’s face is clearly seen in the picture. Dayanidhi Maran is also seen in the picture.

Rahul Gandhi met DMK working president MK Stalin at the hospital and enquired about the health of the former Karunanidhi. Rahul was accompanied by AICC general secretary Mukul Wasnik, TNCC president Su Thirunavukkarasar and senior Congress leader EVKS Elangovan.

Stating that he met Karunanidhi in the ICU, Rahul said that the Congress party has a long relationship with him. Karunanidhi is a tough person, he said, also adding that his health is stable and he has the spirit of Tamil Nadu.

Earlier, DMK had released the picture of Vice President Venkaiah Naidu meeting the DMK chief at the hospital. Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit was also present in the meeting. National and state leaders have been paying visits to the hospital to enquire about the health of Karunanidhi.
