KARUNANIDHI HEALTH: VENKAIAH NAIDU, BANWARILAL PUROHIT VISIT HOSPITAL

Vice President Venkaiah Naidu visited the Kauvery Hospital in Alwarpet, Chennai, where DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi has been admitted after his health deteriorated in the wee hours of Saturday. Naidu was accompanied by Governor Banwarilal Purohit, Union Minister of State for Shipping Pon Radhakrishnan and Tamil Nadu Fisheries Minister D Jayakumar.

Naidu reportedly met DMK working president MK Stalin and party MP Kanimozhi to enquire about the health condition of the former Chief Minister. MDMK general secretary Vaiko and DMK general secretary K Anbazhagan have also visited the hospital.

Vaiko and Anbazhagan went inside the hospital after the Vice President left after meeting Stalin and Kanimozhi and enquired about the DMK supremo’s health. Police have been deployed near the hospital in large numbers. DMK cadres have gathered in large numbers near the hospital.
