HARDIK PANDYA IN, MS DHONI OUT! HERE'S REASON WHY

Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul who were suspended earlier had their suspension relieved by the BCCI on Thursday.

Immediately after the decision, Pandya was sent to New Zealand to join the Indian team in the ongoing ODI series. KL Rahul reportedly joined the India A team in the ongoing series against England Lions. On Monday, Pandya made a comeback after his suspension in the third ODI match against NZ.

Pandya replaced Vijay Shankar. Another major change that was made to the playing XI was that MS Dhoni had to be replaced by Dinesh Karthik since he had a sore hamstring.

New Zealand won the toss and chose to bat. NZ is currently at 239/8 in 48 overs.
