நேற்று பத்திரிக்கையாளர்களைச் சந்தித்த  தமிழக பாஜக தலைவர் தமிழிசை சௌந்தரராஜன், தன் அனுமதியின்றி தன்னை கமலஹாசனுடைய மக்கள் நீதி மய்யம் கட்சியில் சேர்த்துள்ளதாக குற்றம் சாட்டினார்.


இந்த குற்றச்சாட்டுக்கு மக்கள் நீதி மய்யம் தன் ட்விட்டர் பக்கத்தில் விளக்கமளித்துள்ளது.


அதில், "உங்கள் இணையதளத்தில் இருந்து உறுப்பினர் பதிவுக்கான அழைப்பு வந்த ஆதாரம், எங்களிடம் இருக்கிறது.உங்கள் தொலைபேசி எண்ணில் மட்டும் தற்போதைக்குக் கரி பூசியிருக்கிறோம்" என, தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.


மேலும், தமிழிசை தன் இணையதளத்தில் இருந்து அவருடைய விபரங்களை கொடுத்ததற்கான ஆதாரம் எனக் கூறி ஒரு ஆவணத்தையும் பதிவேற்றியுள்ளனர்.



Following complaints by BJP state president Tamilisai Soundararajan that she received an email from Makkal Needhi Maiam that she had become a member of the party, MNM took it to Twitter and clarified about her registration on the site. Tamilisai had earlier alleged irregularities and said, "They are using the BJP state unit president's email to make her their party member. How can you believe them?"

இதுகுறித்து பத்திரிக்கையாளர்களிடம் பேசிய தமிழிசை, "நான் நாம் ஆனோம் . இன்றிலிருந்து எனது கட்சியில் நீங்கள் உறுப்பினர் ஆனீர்கள்" என்று தன்னுடைய இ-மெயில் முகவரிக்கு மக்கள் நீதி மய்யம் கட்சியிலிருந்து செய்தி வந்துள்ளதாக  தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.


மேலும் தனக்கு மக்கள் நீதி மய்யம் கட்சியின் உறுப்பினர் எண் அனுப்பப்பட்டுள்ளதாகவும், கையில் கிடைக்கும் இ-மெயில் எல்லாவற்றையும் உறுப்பினராகச் சேர்க்க கூடாது எனவும் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.


BJP Tamil Nadu unit president Tamilisai Soundararajan has alleged irregularities in the Makkal Needhi Maiam’s attempt to increase the party membership. She also alleged that she received an email from MNM party that she had become a member of the Kamal Haasan’s party. “They are using the BJP state unit president’s email to make her their party member. How can you believe them?” Tamilisai questioned. She also showed the alleged mail in a gadget.

Makkal Needhi Maiam founder Kamal Haasan has reportedly adopted Adigathur village in Tiruvallur district. This is the first village adopted by the party. Reports say, the village is leading in groundwater conservation and several women from the village were honoured during the party's Women's Day celebrations in Royapettah, Chennai. As part of the adoption program, the party will provide basic amenities required for the village.


While speaking at the Women's Day celebrations held in Royapettah on Thursday, Makkal Needhi Maiam founder Kamal Haasan claimed that almost 3.6 crore women have gone missing in the country over the last few years. He further explained that these women are missing because they were prevented from being born in the first place. Kamal assured that MNM as a party will research and act based on such evidence.

In a public gathering, Makkal Needhi Maiam party chief Kamal Haasan on Thursday said that he will be releasing a ‘book of principles’ for his party in 180 days. He said, there are parties that are functioning with party manifesto but they are not following anything from the manifesto. He said, “They asked me where my party manifesto is, I have a question, are the parties that have manifesto following what is written in it? This government is standing on ‘Annaism’ and ruling the state”.

Addressing women as part of the Women's Day celebrations in Royapettah on Thursday, Makkal Needhi Maiam founder Kamal Haasan said he can proudly say that he knows how to wear saree. He remembered his mother on the occasion and heaped praises about her for having brought him up teaching a lot of life lessons.


According to reports, Kamal Haasan's party Makkal Needhi Maiam has announced a solatium of Rs 10 lakh to the family of Trichy woman Usha. The young woman died of injury after the bike she was travelling on was kicked by a traffic cop. Earlier, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami announced Rs 7 lakh ex-gratia to the family.


Makkal Needhi Maiam founder Kamal Haasan on Thursday addressed students at the SSN College in Kanchipuram and explained what being at the Maiam (centre) means. “Standing at the centre does not mean not taking sides. It is about standing at the centre to assess both the sides and decide which one is right,” the actor-turned-politician said.

Addressing the media on Wednesday regarding the controversy surrounding BJP national secretary H Raja’s remarks on Periyar statues, Kamal Haasan said such a comment is a wicked act. “No one can cause any harm to Periyar’s dignity or his statues in Tamil Nadu,” the Makkal Needhi Maiam founder said. Kamal Haasan also warned that the controversy should not distract people from the demand for the Cauvery Management Board. Police protection is needed for H Raja, not for Periyar statues, the actor-turned-politician said adding that Tamils know how to protect Periyar’s statues and his honour.

The Madras High Court on Tuesday ordered the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA) to issue notices to 138 persons over illegal constructions of bungalows on the East Coast Road in Chennai. The persons, including Makkal Needhi Maiam founder Kamal Haasan and actress Ramya Krishnan, allegedly didn’t get the proper sanction from CMDA for building the bungalows. The court adjourned the case till April 9.

Makkal Needhi Maiam's leader, Kamal Haasan addressed people during the application process event to join his party in the party office in Alwarpet, Chennai. While answering some students' questions, he addressed his previous statement that there cannot be a complete ban on liquor. He said, "It is shameful that what a private body should be running is being run by the government," referring to TASMAC. Kamal stated that TASMAC is not an essential service, but the government has made it essential for Tamil Nadu. "The reason why I said that there cannot be a complete ban on liquor is not to see everyone drink and go to waste. You have all started drinking, so to not go to waste, only regulations can be made and not a complete ban," said Kamal.

Makkal Needhi Maiam founder Kamal Haasan reportedly distributed membership applications to all the 32 districts in Tamil Nadu. Party high-level officials and district-level functionaries received the bundles of applications from Kamal Haasan in Chennai. Reports suggest that the actor held discussions with district functionaries on strengthening the party.

Allegedly, Makkal Needhi Maiam's party leader, Kamal Haasan commented that it is not possible for a complete ban on liquor in Tamil Nadu. Following this, BJP state president Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan in a press meet was quoted as saying that women will oppose Kamal. She stated that Kamal Haasan is saying things that oppose women and so Tamil Nadu women will definitely oppose him.

Makkal Needhi Maiam chief Kamal Haasan tweeted a video inviting people to attend a public meet which is to be held on March 8 on the occasion of International Women's day. In the video, MNM party's core committee members, including Sripriya and Kameela having cordially invited members to attend the celebrations at YMCA in Royapettah in which Kamal Haasan will take part.


Makkal Needhi Maiam chief Kamal Haasan met Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and inquired about his health in Chennai. Reports say, the Chief Minister was admitted to Apollo Hospital situated in Chennai's Greams road following a variation in blood count on Saturday.

Actor turned Kamal Haasan explained about the logo of ‘Makkal Needhi Maiam’ during the party launch. The logo having six hands refer to the six south Indian states and the star in the centre refers to the people. Kamal launched his party and hoisted his party flag on Wednesday.
