Kamal is at his agile best in Vettaiyadu. The crew shot in Prasad Studios with sets resembling luxury hotel rooms. Kamal plays an investigating officer. Racy action scenes with lot of fire thrown around have been shot here. Some more scenes were canned at Chennai’s Central Railway Station on Saturday. Shooting then again resumed in Prasad at 2 in the afternoon.

Kamal’s Vettaiyadu Villayadu is one of the most expected movies in Tamil cine circuit along with Rajini’s Sivaji. Gowtham directs Kamal for the first time. Jothika is the lead heroine.
