A.R. Murugadas is a happy man now as Ghajini directed by him is a hit in Tamil and Telugu. Similarly, Ramana which he directed a couple of years ago with Vijayakanth in the lead was a big hit and made him popular. Impressed by the film, Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi invited Murugadas to direct its Telugu version.

The film not only clicked at the turnstiles but gave a huge fillip to Chiranjeevi’s slightly sagging career graph. Therefore, Murugadas has been invited to direct Chiranjeevi’s next film, Stalin. This is probably Chiru’s way of saying thank you. Having made a mark in Telugu, Murugadas is all set to capture Kannada audience as well. Ramana’s Kannada version titled Vishnu Sena is presently grossing up in Karnataka.
