Her career does seem to be at crossroads. No major hits and film after film in monotonous characters. While her recent releases, Oru naal oru kanavu and Oru kalluriyin kadhai had lukewarm run, her role in ex-beau, Selvaraghavan’s Puduppettai is nothing much to write home about.

Asked why she agreed to do the role, the lady said that the script dictated the choice of actors and actresses and the director was the best judge. She did not feel bad about acting with another heroine. In Thiruttuppayale also she is one of the two heroines pining for hero, Jeevan.
