Thankar Bachan, Cheran and S.J. Suryah have been successful directors besides turning to acting. Although they differ in the genre of movies which interests them, the three will be coming together in a forthcoming film. Thankar will be directing Pallikkoodam in which Cheran and S.J. Suryah play the role of thick friends.

The selection of heroines and other members of the cast is on. While the composer is not known yet, it is being speculated that it would be Ilayaraja. Thankar has said that Pallikkoodam would be his most ambitious film to date. It is worth noting that Cheran acted in Thankar’s earlier film, Solla marandha kadhai.
