According to reports, the Sri Lankan government has decided to impose emergency in the country for the next 10 days after violence broke out in many places including Kandy. Earlier, a communal unrest broke out after a man was killed and Muslim businesses were set alight.  Earlier, Police curfew was imposed in the Kandy administrative District until 6.00 am on Tuesday.
