Reportedly, the couple from Kuwait were stepping out from the courtroom after getting married. While coming out, the bride ended up tripping and falling. However, instead of helping her get up, the husband laughed at her instead and called her 'stupid'.

This did not settle well with the wife, who immediately walked back inside the courtroom and asked for the marriage to be cancelled. The judge accepted her decision and served an annulment. Netizens lauded the woman for standing up for herself. A social media user wrote, "A marriage with no respect, is a failed one right from the beginning.”

In a similar case in India, a couple from Ahmedabad called it quits hours after their wedding due to a fight about the lunch served.
