TN - MANAGER REFUSES TO GRANT LEAVE; EMPLOYEE TURNS UP TO OFFICE IN AMBULANCE

A government employee from Erode reportedly had to show up to his office in an ambulance after his manager refused to grant him sick leave.

Babu has been working as a government driver in State Express Transport Corporation (Tamil Nadu) for five years. A few days ago, Babu fell ill and had to be admitted to the hospital. During his treatment, Babu's wife made a call for his manager to request for leave.

However, Babu's manager refused to believe her and did not grant leave. Babu was forced to take an ambulance and went to his office along with his entire family. He handed over his leave letter in person to his manager and returned back to the hospital. After deliberation, Babu's leave request was approved.
