Theni forest fire: Death toll rises to 14

The death toll in the Kurangani hills forest fire has increased to 14 as another woman succumbed to burn injuries on Thursday. Anu Vidya from Chennai died at Madurai government hospital without responding to treatment. When asked, a hospital staff said her body will be taken to Chennai after post-mortem. Notably, the government on Thursday issued an order appointing IAS officer Atulya Misra to probe the forest fire incident and submit a report.
