While presenting the state budget, Finance Minister of Tamil Nadu O Panneerselvam said that Rs 20 crore will be allocated by the government for conversion of the residence of the former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa into a memorial. The opposition party boycotted the assembly saying that the Tamil Nadu government has delayed the process of forming the Cauvery Management Board.
