Tamil Nadu: 3-year-old sexually assaulted by 65-year-old man

According to reports, a three-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a 65-year-old man in Merku Meenatchi Patti village near Dindigul. She was found crying in the room of Mariyappan, who is the watchman of the government primary school in the village. On discovering that the girl was molested, the villagers started scolding him, while a man in the crowd, out of rage, thrashed Mariyappan. Mariyappan was admitted to Dindigul government hospital with injuries. While the villagers staged a roadblock before the hospital, police assured them that an appropriate action will be taken against the man, say reports.
