Some of the fans of the Superstar are certainly disappointed by Rajini staying away from politics. “Our Thalaivar has missed a good chance. He could have become the CM way back in 1996,” says Senthilnathan, a diehard Rajini fan. There are many Senthilnathans at the grassroots. Some of them put up black and white posters, as if mourning, ‘You’ve cheated us.’ As far as the fans are concerned, their leader has the charisma and the sincerity to become the CM. But, they are unaware of the landmines in politics and that is why Rajini is staying away from the game.
