The
trade reasons for PachaiKili Muthucharam delay

Pachaikili
Muthucharam was initially produced
by director Gautham Menon under his
banner. He had sold the film to Oscar
Films Ravichandran for 3.5 crores
who has escalated the rate of this
film to 7.5 crores. But unfortunately
there are no takers for this price.
According
to trade analysts, Gautham Menon’s films
may command a decent market but not Sarathkumar’s.
Hence the release of the film was getting postponed
indefinitely.
In the event of no buyers for Pachaikili Muthucharam
for an extended period of time, Ravichandran has
decided to take over the distribution rights and
release the film himself. At this juncture, it
should be noted that Ravichandran is considered
to be the guardian angel of Kollywood who has
the reputation of bailing people out from difficult
situations. Hence let us hope that he helps Pachaikili
Muthucharam also and the film would come out of
its testing times and hit the screen soon.
