Remember
our earlier reports about Malavika’s
pending paycheck due for her from
the producers of Vijayakanth starrer
Sabari? Looks like the issue is far
from over. The producer of Sabari,
Chandrasekharan has lodged another
complaint against Malavika.
The
complaint that was submitted in the Producers
council stated that Malavika has not been cooperative
and was extremely demanding during the shoots
that were conducted abroad. Besides, since she
failed to attend the shoots as promised, she agreed
to reduce her salary to Rs. 7 lakh, which was
informed by her Manager Munusamy. This means that
the producer only owes her Rs. 2 lakh.
Further, the complaint also stated that Sabari
– which was due for Pongal – was delayed
due to Malavika’s absence for the committed
shoots. Chandrasekharan has requested the Producers
council to conduct enquiry against Malavika in
this regard.
When contacted by Behindwoods correspondent, Malavika
stated that the producer was trying to divert
the issue and blame it on her. My claim is justified
and I have my stand, she added.
