The
dubbing artist's association in Kerala
has raised their voice against the
opinion aired by actress Padmapriya
on dubbing artists in an interview
to a regional television channel.
The Dubbing artist's association demanded
a public apology from Padmapriya and
vowed not to lend their voice for
the actress until then.
Yesterday
evening Padmapriya called on the press and clarified
her comments and clearly explained that her comments
were not meant to hurt anyone and apologized if
it had hurt anyone. She said that she wanted to
dub on her own for her to become a complete actress
and that did not mean the dubbing artists were
doing a bad job. Infact Padmapriya thanked and
praised the people who have leant their voices
for her. The dubbing artist's association has
accepted the apology from the actress and has
assured full cooperation from their side to clear
the misunderstanding.
