Bala is known in Kollywood circles
as a pedant who would never compromise
realism even for a finer detail in
his film. It is for this very reason
that he had camped in Kasi for more
than two months to shoot his upcoming
‘Naan Kadavul’. It was
easier to obtain permission to shoot
in Kasi
and
the crew had gotten back after successfully completing
the schedule there.
Back in Tamil Nadu, Bala had sought consent to
shoot in few of the temples. But authorization
was denied to conduct shooting here. Being an
optimist, he waited with patience for some time
when he realized that call sheets of lead artists
like Arya and Bhavna are going unused. Now he
has decided to complete the rest of the shooting
by erecting sets of temples. Art director of the
film is working over time to complete the sets
and from this point onwards Naan Kadavul is expected
to race and complete with renewed vigor.
