Ghajini will soon be remade in Hindi and the
heroine part has fallen in Asin's kitty after
all the names that were thrown. Now that the
casting crew has done its job and has cast
Asin in the role that she played in the original,
it is up to her to prove her worth in Bollywood.
But that is not going to be easy.
Asin has always dubbed for herself, be it Tamil or Telugu and she is keen to twist her tongue and stretch her vocal chord in Hindi too. But the problem is that there is going to be no dubbing for the Hindi Ghajini, it is going to be shot on sync sound. Well, it is one thing reading out the lines from inside a dubbing studio and another thing to memorize lines and spell them out without any mistakes, that too with the right expressions in the way the director wants it.
Doing all this in a language that is alien to one, is
no mean task and Asin has set out to do exactly this.
Hope she does come through without much trouble, but that
is going to take a lot of preparation and maybe a Hindi
