‘The
jack of all trades and the master
of many’, a definition that
sits well on Aamir Khan. He doesn’t
just act in a movie; he ensures that
everything is perfect. Right from
the art to the sound. So, it came
as no surprise when he decided to
direct or rather co-direct. The shooting
for his home production,
Taare
Zameen Pe which was scheduled to get over in under
50 days has already touched the 100 day mark and
Aamir’s decision at this point of time gives
more than just a vague idea of how much of the
film has been completed.
Aamir, not satisfied with the way the movie was
being handled by the director has decided to share
the responsibility. Let’s wait and watch
how much of the job is shared. Once Aamir takes
up something, others are known to have very little
say in it. There has been no official announcement
about the release date. But keeping in mind that
the movie was intended to be a limited investment
production, it must make it to theatres before
peak summer. There is also the Hindi remake of
Gajini that is slated to begin sometime in April.
So, Aamir has just about 60 days in which to turn
his maiden directorial venture into a memorable
