A Class XI student stabbed the headmaster of a private school in Tirupattur of Vellore district and is on the run, says a report by Puthiya Thalaimurai. The report suggests that the headmaster Babu often rebuked the student Hariharan for his mischievous behaviour. Babu was once again scolding Hariharan on Monday when the latter drew a knife he had hidden and stabbed the headmaster in his stomach. Babu has been admitted to the Tirupattur government hospital and is receiving treatment, the report added.
